Graduated in Advertising, he began his career as an editor / finisher on the beloved — though not so much — Media 100 system.

Casting is a film created for Kimberly-Clark Brazil, promoting Neve Wet Wipes and Neve Toilet Paper.
The film was developed by iris São Paulo, once again featuring a bold script centered around a character who is nearly 40 years old.
For this project, we selected a group of candidates who were clearly nothing like the real Alfredo. It was the most fun project I’ve ever worked on. Working with Carlos Moreno, Sebastian, and Fabiano was emotional and unforgettable. At no point did I ever imagine this could happen to me one day.
I grew up watching commercials for Bombril, C&A, and Casas Bahia, and suddenly those same icons were standing in front of me — listening to my vision for the film, trusting my direction, and embracing the songs, jokes, and playful moments along the way.

Metaphors is a film created for Kimberly-Clark Brazil, promoting Neve Wet Wipes.
The film was developed by iris São Paulo, with a highly bold script. And a bold script called for a disruptive approach to cinematography, framing, art direction, and editing — especially for a brand as traditional as Neve.
It was a pleasure to portray Alfredo in a different light. He is a classic character in Brazilian advertising, and I grew up hearing the iconic shout “Alfreeeeedo!” throughout my childhood. I never imagined that one day I would be directing a film featuring him.
My proposal was to work with tight close-ups, creating a sense of suspense, humor, and tension as the metaphors were gradually revealed.
The biggest challenge was maintaining elegance and good humor, as there was a very fine line between something refined and something over-the-top.
The idea for the soundtrack came from classic cartoons (Tom & Jerry, Woody Woodpecker, The Pink Panther) while I was driving back from an offline meeting at the agency, stuck in traffic on Marginal Pinheiros. Those cartoon soundtracks were a big part of my childhood, and because of their strong classical elements, I connected them with “Por Una Cabeza”, aiming to make the film feel more classic, elegant, and at the same time playful — with a final crescendo that sends chills down your spine.

Secret Formula is a film created for Brasil Kirin, promoting the soft drink Itubaína.
When I first received the script, my main question was how to produce the film in a way that would look great — and, most importantly, fit the budget. As a director, it hurts to make cuts, but through creativity and commitment we found a playful visual language that moved away from the traditional kitchen setting.
Working with Palmirinha was an absolute joy. She is warm, generous, and incredibly kind. I grew up watching her on TV, and for anyone who, like me, no longer has grandparents, it’s hard not to get emotional. One of the highlights of the project was being able to explore 1980s references, a decade I truly love. I often say that if I had to choose between traveling or going back to the 1980s on weekends, I would choose time travel without hesitation.
The soundtrack was another key element that helped tie the film together. I had been wanting to work with an 8-bit language for a long time. I grew up playing Master System, Nintendo, and Mega Drive — I’m openly a nerd, and a big fan of Phantasy Star and Ultima.
