My name is Fabio Maczka. I’m an advertising graduate, but I’ve always worked in audiovisual.

My relationship with creativity has always been driven by rhythm, editing, and precision. I started in post-production, where I developed my sense of storytelling, timing, and narrative construction. Today, my focus is on editing award-winning advertising films and cases, using motion design and color grading as creative extensions of the idea — never as decoration.

I’ve always been drawn to the level of craft and intensity that advertising demands. This constant pursuit of the best solution, the right cut, and the detail that elevates the idea is what motivates me and shapes how I collaborate with creatives.

During my time at Africa, I had the opportunity to work closely with some of the best creatives in the industry on projects that won major international awards. I have won awards at Cannes Lions — including Grand Prix, Gold, Silver, Bronze, and Shortlists — as well as awards at The One Show, D&AD, Clio Awards, Effie, El Ojo, and the Brazilian Creative Club, among others.

Over the course of my career, I’ve done a bit of everything. I’ve run my own production companies, directed films, edited, worked with motion design and color grading, and also served as an executive producer. It wasn’t a planned path — challenges pushed me into these roles and forced me to adapt, always in search of the best creative solution for each project.

Today, I remain focused on turning strong ideas into precise, relevant, and well-crafted films, always respecting the creative process and elevating the final work.
